This is my new spray gun! Ingersoll Rand 270G HVLP purchased at tractor supply 87$. It seems to be of decent quality and it comes with an air pressure regulator. It is nicer than the Husky Pro which was 100$ and with no regulator, an air regulator was 20$ extra. 87$ vs 120$ 8)

ebay score! I was prepared to pay at least 300 for R1 forks and tree. I was shocked to find this pair. The shop that sold them did a Ohlins conversion on an R1 and just wanted to unload the stockers. Straight, no scratches, gouges, or leaks. Amazing!

......whore....... :-*

I mean that in the best way....looks like my pile of "potential" except your pile is far better organized! I'm very jealous of your Katana and my interest has been piqued by that little red bike up front.

Damn where do you find a set of forks like that for that kind of money :) I just found out the front end I was going to use on my next XS650 project has bent forks. So I'm looking and an inverted front end would be pretty good on it. Will have to shop where you do!
Tim,
'old' USD forks can be had pretty cheap.
The 'squids who crash bikes and bend forks don't generally realise you can fit 'different' manufacturer forks and only look for those specific to the bike they have (UJSM only uses 3 different manufacturer's)
I was given for some 2002 Suzuki GSX-R forks for some machining work, I think guy only paid $75~$85 for them (but, steering stem is missing and top yoke has been drilled for 'stunta' bars ::) )

wrecked 1999 Buell X1
If I do a build thread on this thing were would I put the thread?
Its not vintage really? Its modern cafe?
All Im gonna do to this thing is fix the broke, and strip the crap.

Sweet! What's the damage? Love the header pipe configuration on the tuber Buells. Cool bikes. Have fun with it.

So far just the headlight assembly, airbox, signals, and bars.
got her cheap with only 6400 miles on the clock
