Absorbs into fibres very well. After I apply a generous coating, I warm up the boots over a hot stove element to melt the conditioner into the leather, then buff out the excess. Like I mentioned, doesn't leave an oily, greasy or slippery film on top. And other brands have a heavy beeswax smell which I don't like on my jackets. Pecard dries to a nearly odourless finish.
Hey that sounds like good stuff! I don't mind the 'duster' smell as I got used to it early on at the ranch.....but...it does leave a bit of a film I could do without , I'll look into Pecard. Thanks Doc!
1980 Bell Moto 3. It was my bosses race helmet 30 years ago. Inside is nice, and other than being dirty and needing a new visor its in terrific shape. A little Goo Gone and some elbow grease she'll be as good as new. Not bad for $20.
Von, That helmet was the bomb back in the day. It's hard to believe that it was 30 years ago. All my dad gave me back then was an open face with a snap on Jawa mouth guard!
Can't believe this didn't more of a reaction... WOW!
All I can think is I would NEVER come out of the shop... except for more food and beer... and my annual blowjob.
Man them CB's that crazy! If you don't have room for them all.... haha im in over my head on this one bike i don't need anymore. Well my bank account is hurting again...
Yeah, my wife's SunL works great for a beer getter, or as I had to use it today to get some gas for the lawn tractor since I didn't feel like riding IT to the station. ;D
My daily use bike has become the DT250. VERY fun around-the-town machine.
I'm eyeballing options for an expansion chamber, but may end up making my own.
Insofar as the latest purchase?
My little brother just bought a Buell XB9. And I bought a sixth spare engine for the DT that I will be doing porting work on.
I can only see half pics on my phone, is that a TL or an SV? I have a ~5000 mile tlr motor and harness sitting in storage waiting for just the right project. Great platform!
