Post a pic of your latest purchase

Bench was $50.00 plus tax, which isn't too bad considering I would never get round to making a folding bench

Got my new brake light mounted

Picked up the new ride yesterday, sleek, lovely red and white paint job carbon forks, carbon inserts in the rear uprights, lightweight alloys, designed for endurance riding...............................................................

An integral part of the weight loss programme for the XS that has been going on since January, as well as making the bike lighter I decided the sack of potato's that it has to carry up the sprint track could be made lighter (a more cost effective way of increasing the performance of an XS650 would be harder to find) 50 lbs lost since Jan, target is around 70lbs.

Plans for this little piece of cycling art include competing in the French endurance event L' Etape du tour next year (circa 196km in a day riding one of the alpine mountain stages of the tour de france, followed by another Tour de France stage of similar length 7 days later) for charity.

Sorry to dissappoint anyone expecting to see something with an engine LOL ;D just thought I would share a pic of my newest toy.

Cornish Pixie - a much overlooked method of improving the power-to-weight ratio!

And while it is normally a cheap power upgrade I think purchasing trick endurance bikes nullifies that.

Crazy

Crazy

LOL - totally agree, the first 50 lbs of loss were achieved with little expenditure, the next 20lbs or so will definately have cost a bit more.

These came in over the past couple of days...
Adjustable clip-ons and Tarrozzi rearsets:

I bought brand new bike to ride while my vintage bikes are being worked on.

I wish I had a wide angle lens so you could see my whole stable.

In the background is a 1980 GL1100 Standard, on the left, the 1969 CL350 shown in my avatar. Not shown are my 1975 CB400F and my 1980 Puch Maxi.

Mr.E, what is Jack's in Sanford? I have family I need to go visit in Deltona. Is it worth a visit if I am down there?
