My dad picked this up for me and dropped it around yesterday:

Idiot PO had the motor pulley on upside down (fixed in this pic) and the belt is half an inch to an inch too short:

Should be an easy fix and it runs real quiet...

Surf, I hope you have better luck with those than I did.
I bought a set of Russells Speed Bleeders for my Firebird several years ago. I was autocrossing it it pretty severely and was changing brake fluid often. Out of the box I had one defective (bad spring in the check valve). Brought them back and exchanged with no problem. Had a bad one in that box too. Brought back/exchanged again. Finally got a good set. Decided to contact Russells, not bitching, but just to give them the "heads up". They were nice enough to send me a new set for my trouble.
The next time I changed the fluid, one of them broke (bad spring again). Pulled out the set Russells had sent me... defective one in the box.
I said "fuck it" and put the OEM bleeders back in.

You should be able to unscrew the orange knob and pivot or slide the motor back to adjust belt tension.
Belt looks too long in pic, not too short?

Picked up a used tank for the K75c project I'm working. The old tank had so many holes it wasn't worth fixing it. I've never seen aluminum corrode so badly, guess that's what happens when you leave untreated gas sitting in the tank for years. Still have to replace the rest of the fuel system and change the fluids before I try to start it.

'71 - '72 ish T500 Suzuki, full race prepped / wired chassis. No de-tabbing or gussets or bracing in my near future.
My pre unit triumph engine will be living in this frame. I also found one early fifties preunit non rigid frame but buddy wanted stupid money for it. So tri-zuki is what my new project will be..

Actually picked it up Thursday, but, close enough! ;)

Just what I need, another project. :D The good news is, I sold a h2b basket case to pay for the KayZed. No $$ out of pocket! 8)

Awesome score Surffly. I don't mean to sound insulting or anything. but please be careful with that. A lathe will steal a finger (or more) in the blink of an eye.

+100

A friend up here who has a lathe and does some work for us locals recently got beaned in the noggin with a piece of metal. Knocked him for a loop, required scans. He got very lucky.

Oh I have seen machines do all kinds of damage.
While I am no machinist I have used lathes and mills. I do look forward to being able to learn more.

mmmm... nice lathe surffly... let us know how it goes... I totally won't be bothering you with little lathe jobs I need done :D
