Gonna re-paint it though, can't have the Italian colors on it ;)

Just repaint the green white and call it a Speed Racer replica ;D

Haha yeah why not, it's only the green circle thats bothering me :D
Or maybe just put a large sticker over it

Picked these up today - wheels from a 78 (?) GS400. Originally was just getting the rear wheel for a song, but the seller threw in the front wheel for free! The plan is to have a spare set of wheels available for the GS450.

Sweet! Those are gonna look awesome on the 450.

It was time for a new everyday lid. My old one has been through a wreck (it unceremoniously met the gravel/asphalt head on...) and is a few years old. So... I found this one on clearance. Brand new in the box for $39. Originally $130. Not too shabby. ;)

Isn't green the background colour for 250 GP bikes?
Stick a number in there ;)

Hack Pro complete and running. All files transferred and all music software moved over. Running 72 hours with no problems. Logic Pro, Ableton, Reason 5, Nuendo and most VSTs added and working. The one piss off was my copy of MOTU Ethno Instrument will not work with Mountain Lion. Got into a pissing match with a representative and currently have a copy of Ethno 2 on the way for free. Mission accomplished 8) 8) 8).

The main criterion for a helmet [ UK testing ] is a 30 mph impact test - the speed at which if the head stops suddenly, the brain continues to smash around inside the skull, usually with not very good results.

What was brought to light as possibly more relevant was a good pal's recent accident [ driver of orther vehicle - "Didn't see you mate" ] he's built like the preverbial brick shithouse, but that didn't help when he skidded down the road on his face with an open face helmet - at 20 mph. Jaw and dental reconstruction later [ 4 months ] - he's just bought a new helmet - a full face version.

BC, My main helmet is a full face Airoh, so the open one is not my only one.

Yeah, know what you mean - I bought an old [ styled ] leather covered "Puddin' basin" to use when I'm on my Boardtracker - showgrounds and parade laps only.

Nice Mike! They are great guns, I've had the pleasure of shooting them before and can think of nothing I don't like about it. Here's my newest Ruger.

.308 Gunsite scout.

Very nice! I've been lusting after one of those myself. Have you shot it any serious distance yet?

Damn, new EU regs are pretty strict, Snell is still using 13mph
