if we're talking honda 2 strokes, lets not forget the MVX250, that stunning little water cooled triple that was notable mostly for going BANG rather than forwards

Ah yes, interesting machine. Very non-Honda like, being both 2-stroke and unreliable!

Better post something on topic. Got these today:

Two-stoke Hondas can be considered honorary Yamahas!

sorry i had to

I'm not a Honda fanboy or anything like that. I like Yamahas too. I had a TZR250 3XV for a while. Ended up selling it, as it kept causing me problems, and I didn't have the skills to fix it then. Wish I still had it, was a bit restrictive in power, but bloody brilliant to ride.

You need an RGV 250, they were pretty reliable when not dropping exhaust valves into cylinder but always sound like they are on the verge of major mechanical failure
Bit of tech for the people who think it must be four stroke if it has valves

Bought me a small blasting cabinet with included blast gun for those small parts.. Like calipers and valve covers :p

Picked up this sweet 1970 scrambler that is in pristine condition considering the age...by trading/bartering things I had laying around my garage!!! The Craigslist gods have smiled upon me, haha!

I have one just like that and am very happy with it. Right now it has sand in it but I'm considering switching over to soda.

I found a bag of $5 laundry detergent at the supermarket. I figured I'd try it as a blasting media and see how it compares to soda...
