Where'd you get the regulator?

A friend who owns an auto parts store was able to source a regulator that met my requirements. It's close relative to a Duralast VR730 but doesn't have the case or riveted connections.

I see 4 at least. Nice score.

3 for 400$ and the one I picked up two weeks ago. Insane? Yes.... but somewhere under all the grime is one solid bike.

Maybe 2! I want one of these now and I used to laugh at a good friend who rode a naked Clydesdale (what mine will be called too)... they make sense now that I'm fucking old :-\

I don't care how goofy it may seem to some... it's a couch with 80hp. Mileage eater! lol I know. My buddy used to catch a ride to hockey practice on his dads 1200, so to me they always seemed kind of awesome.

I love mine, to me the 1000 is the one to have. I will keep mine forever. If you can only own one bike it is a great all a round one.

The 1000 that I have is rough. It's useable, but I have an 82 1100 now with a title that's really decent so I feel inclined to build that one.

It was a couple of weeks ago, but I'm finally getting around to taking pictures off my phone. Bought a 2015 Super Tenere in upstate New York and drove her home to MN. I love Tim Horton's enough to take a picture and I'm super jealous of you guys that live in Canada or near one of these lovely establishments.

Nice get, and up here there is a Tim's on every corner, in every town, sometimes right across the street from each other in big places.

We have 110 KPH now = 70 mph on the highway, used to be 90-100 kph just 10 years ago or so. still have the Tim's and you must have been to Toronto as they use a lot of brick, up here in the Maritimes it's all vinyl siding or wood.

I'm lucky enough to be living in a town where a Timmy's is being built right now, as we speak, 5 blocks from my home. Can't wait! (If I may digress:) Years ago the best cup of coffee you could buy anywhere (chain-wise in the US) was from Dunkin Donuts. Now the java from MacDonald's is decent and Dunkin's is still great, but for my taste there ain't none better than Timmy's coffee. (Notice I didn't even add in that nasty Starwhateveritis stuff.) OK, I'm done now, back to your latest purchase. ;)

You can only get the Canadian Maple donut at Canadian Tim Horton's these days. The Canadian Maple is my favorite donut of all time, I quite literally needed them to survive when I went to college in Calgary. Even still I lost 25lbs when I was there. But dang I wish I could get one here in the states.
