That IS a good deal - if it doesn't break down and runs for more than 3 minutes at a time (we had one in India that was very powerful, but ran a max of 3 minutes then had to set for two.) Be careful not to set hard things directly on the bottom of the sink. I've seen too many that had leaks due to the parts inside wearing holes in the bottom.

The doohickey was done on this one according to the PO. I might hit you up on that piston and top end you did though. Thanks Jimbo.
Absolutely - I duffed my way through it without too much drama and I'll help in any way I can. Checking to see if the doo has indeed been done is also no biggy - you can sometimes tell without even removing the engine casing. You got any questions mate I'll be more than happy to try answering 8)

Thanks for the tips bro! I was actually thinking about looking into isolating the controller board from the vibrations of the unit itself. (if possible)

TCX Drifter boots. Rode around 300kms in them yesterday, these things are really well built and surprisingly comfy. Looks-wise they're the mutt's nuts.

Nice, I've been looking at the Forma Adventures for a while...haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

There's a guy here runs a dual sport shop, can get me 20% off the listed price of pretty much anything. Definitely softens the blow.

Tried a pair of those Forma Adventure boots on at the MTL moto show back in March. Cool boot, but wasn't crazy about the plastic-y buckle set up. Had another pair of Forma's (Hyper) - well made footwear for sure.

I have the forma adventure low, I wear them on the bike into work, wear them at the office all day, and then back home. They are super comfortable for all day wear. I love them.

Good deal. I've been looking at the non-waterproof highs for breathability.

Picked up a barely worn Bell MX-9 with the photo-chromatic Transitions lenses. The lenses are badass, crystal clear and get almost as dark as my sunnies after about 15 sec in the sun.

^^ That's genius - why in the world don't all helmet manufacturers offer photo-chromatic visors? Brilliant.

probably because they'd cost more than most helmets in the first place, would be nice though

Because Transitions owns the patent, and Bell has an exclusive rights deal with them right now.

Picked up a bunch of pork tenderloin, and pork belly (AKA a 8lb hunk of bacon) yesterday to test out some new rubs on.

I smoke both tenderloin and belly often. Love it. I don’t buy bacon anymore. It’s just too easy to make it. I usually do 10lbs at a time

Smoked tenderloin is especially good, never dry, and you can get a nice bark on it if you get it right.
