I like that a lot. Might get one for the XS. Where'd you get yours?

I made a one-time only deal with Acewell, but the guys at Dime City sell it. You might be shocked a bit the first time you see the price, but believe me, it's so worth it!

I'm in the process of finding a good place for the oil temperature sensor (comes with the tacho) and it also has a volt meter. I really like being able to track the health of my bike while riding. For the oil temperature, you can set a warning temperature, if your bike exceeds that temperature, the screen automatically switches to the oil temperature.

Bought this from our local junk shop 4 miles down the road from me. Chas, Parker Series 205, 1905 Bench vise. Can't buy'em like this any more that's for sure. I bought for $90.00.

An Acewell 4453 :). I'm already pretty much done installing it on my CB750 K2 and I love it :)

- All the cool gadgets the 2853 (the 'old' Acewell model) has (rev counter (digital), speedo, maximum speed, ODO meter, 2 trip meters, average speed, riding time, total riding time, RPM warning indicator (shift light), clock, fuel meter and all the idiot lights.
- Rev counter (with a needle)
- Oil temperature meter
- Air temperature meter
- 50 laptimers
- Laptimer remote (for on the handlebars)
- "fuel gauge off mode" (I missed that a little bit on the 2853, since none of my bikes have a fuel sensor)
- adjustable background lighting color
- a way more elaborate display that allows for much more information at once than the 2853 display
- a voltage meter (I am very, very happy with that. Anyone with a Honda will be ;))

this looks pretty rad. Was it a pain to install? Where did you end up purchasing it from?

I got it straight off of the Acewell company itself, they are not even for sale over here. But that was a one time only thing, you will have to buy it via the official channels, I would recommend Dime City: http://www.dimecitycycles.com/

Note: The differences in the 44XX series of the Acewell gauges is, as far as I've understood, in the range of the RPM needle. Mine has a maximum rpm of 9000 rpm, but you can get versions of this gauge with a range of up to 19,000 rpm.

Istalling them is pretty easy. The hardest part for me was deciding where to put it. It comes with a wiring diagram and it's just a matter of connecting wires. I highly doubt there is anyone on this site that would have trouble installing it.

Some shots I took today (bike's a bit dirty):

The last one shows the volt meter. I really, really like being able to monitor that, all my bikes so far have had charging problems at some stage.

I've just finished installing it, now I only need to wait for the additional speedo cable I ordered at Dime City so I don't have to work with the magnet in the wheel. I also need to set it up properly. There's a ton of things to select, like at what RPM you want the shift warning light to come on, or what color you want the background lighting to be.

Looks like you've got your work cut out for you, yawlright! And is it me, or is the left fork tube tweaked? Not that you'd be using it anyway....

I think the tube bending is an optical illusion but i'll check it out. I wasn't going to use those tubes anyway.

Miob what's the alternative speedo option and how does it work? One of these will be going on my bike and I thought I saw a mechanical drive to run the speedo that would maintain the mechanism and spacer on the wheel.

It's easy: The replacement speedo cable replaces your OEM speedo cable. It has the same connection at the wheel and a plug on the other side to plug it into the Acewell unit. Simple, fast and clean.

Fricken' awesome! I was looking at another option but this ones even better!!!!!!!

"New to Me" carbs for the CB750.
Much better condition than the Frankencarbs that are on it now, and they came with chrome tops and bowls...

All this will soon be my Brake Light and Turnsignals on the CB750.
The 4" round and the two 2" rectangle red fixtures for the Tail/Brake. The 2.5" round amber fixtures for theTurnsignals. And the 9.5" flexible strips for the front Running Lights (they'll look like a halo in the lens). All will get custom fitted into the OEM lenses, so they will look like OEM until they're lit up.
And an LED flasher relay...

Can't wait to see that lot wired up.

Al I bought was a couple of 3 foot legths of thin wall 4130 tube. 12" has already been drilled and ground and welded and is now the baffle for the exhaust on my bike.

What do you mean? Those will clean right up with some #0000 and WD40 ;)

Where'd you score the flexible LED strips from?
