I have one of those cameras and I mount it to my helmet sometimes. Its no GoPro but can't beat the price.

I've got a couple of G0-Pro's
Standard I bought a few years ago and HD about 2 yrs ago
Only thing I don't like is 170 degree lens coverage, narrower view would be 'better' for bike mounted
The not knowing if it's actually recording when bike mounted can be a pain as well but that's 'operator error' ;D
Bought a $40.00 Vivitar and use that quite a lot, it's just easier (but not even slightly waterproof)

PJ, if I'm not mistaken the newest GoPro has a selectable field of view. Get 2 of them and you can record in 3D!

Cost is a major issue
If there was a reasonable trade-in I would consider it though (when I get a job ;D )

Yeah cost was the one deciding factor for me with buying the el cheapo one.

About $26 shipped to my door including the A/C charger and 8GB Micro SD Card made it cheap enough.

I'm trying not to spend too much so I can get myself an Innovate Motorports LM-1 or LM-2 in the near future and to make sure I'll have budget for wet blasting the Cucciolo and any bits I need...

Fix and djelliot actually discovered this treasure first on a booze run today after the ride. So I scored the last jar the guy had on my way put of town. Im sure they are all sloshed by now on their jar. Its really hard to find the good hooch like this in my area. I think this calls for a verse of "rare auld mountain dew."
