Post a pic of your latest purchase

I think you have to be an astronaut to control this space shuttle. Never seen so many buttons and controls.

I've purchased three of that same MIG for work and have nothing bad to say about them! You'll love it and it's quite an easy unit to use!

Lots of good feedback so far :) Everyone has good things to say about it. The version sold directly by Lincoln has stepless controls for speed and voltage and a cast metal wire feeder vs the resin version in the 'retail' model like mine sold at the big box stores, but I got it for $500 all-in and $60 for the cart. Cheapest I've seen the welder for is $600 + tax on sale here and $110 + tax for the cart, which would be a little more than $800 so I'm pretty happy with the deal.

Sorry, I can't take pics becuase I am half a world away from where my parts are being shipped to.

I just picked up a nice set of 900 cams and pistons for my cb750, dual piston dual caliper front brakes with master cylinder for my dual disc upgrade, a siphon fed abrasive blaster to sandblast or sodablast my parts, and two 19" rims to lace up for a rad set of 40 spoke wheels.

So I get a laugh yesterday................for a second................until I remembered I PAID for that.

I have parts coming still so when I spotted this big box on the front step I was expecting some of the more substantial parts I've been waiting for 8)

My daughter (6) went over to get it for me and she lifted hard thinking it might be a bit heavy. She almost fell over when she went to lift it alright. She almost threw it up over her head! She laughed and said, "I think it's empty daddy!"

So I grab it and she's not kidding. WTF?

Open it up and, sure, it was something I was waiting for but, SERIOUSLY??????

You needed to pack my two little LED's in this GIANT box?

Good God..... ::)

Lots more stuff coming. Picked up a second hand Ducati 1098............................................electric fan

Removing the mechanical one from the front of the camshaft on the CX and replacing with an electric one, it should release a little power and cool better in traffic on our hot Sydney Summers :)

Also have an RFID kit coming so I can get rid of the ignition key and replace with a RFID wristband to swipe over the bike to turn the ignition on.

You my friend are just the kind of mad scientist I dig, great idea mate!

Here's my latest addition. 1965 Honda CB77 Superhawk. It will take a full restoration but I'm up to the task. My dad rode these when he was younger and I've been looking for one for a long time. Let the fun begin!

I really want a CB72 or CB77, it's a great looking motor, pretty sure Laverda copied it in the 70's for the 750 twin? (at least the styling ;) )
If anyone has a frame/motor I'm interested (I'll swap wheels, forks, etc and make exhaust system)

Not sure how old this is, £10 from fleabay!

Best guess... Late 50s. That is gorgeous. Does it work? If not, they can be repaired but its not cheap. Great score man.

Looks remarkably complete. Great bikes. I fell in love with them when they came out and bought my first on in 72 and did my first professional resto on a 77 in 74. I still have a racer and enough parts to build another race bike. Crank webs are already machined.....

1981 Suzuki GS1000G. $150. Got a good tank with it too. Not sure what to do with it yet but couldn't say no.... I know the original owner, 34k miles.

Nice. Clean it, rebuild the top end, put it back together and ride it from Canada to Key West. Get drunk. Get laid. Swim with sharks. Get thrown out of a bar. Sleep under a palm tree. Ride home.

Sounds good to me.
