The breather covers are different but width and length are almost exactly the same on all of them.
600 is a small bore 750, 1100/1200 are two fins taller.
Even the main bearing sizes and spacing are the same from 600 to 1100 (I never got round to checking 1200)

Drum brake? You cray cray . The motor is torn apart but if I can find one cheap enough... The late 80's GSXR-1100 engine can be shoehorned in the frame.

Been thinking the 7/11 swap myself... but talk to me about the 750 lump if you wanna part with it.

That sucks . The bottom end that's on the bike but it was sitting with the head off for like 20 years in a wet basement. I haven't looked inside it yet so who knows what the condition is... The cylinder bores aren't rusted though and it has oil in it so maybe it's okay.

Is your 750 a 16 valve engine?

Nice helmet! I have always liked AGVs, they've always been good quality and a good fit for me.

Along the same line as a boat, I bought a bunch of windows. 19 of them to be exact. Ugh. Messy messy stuff tearing out 100 year old windows to the brick.

Yeah - not really any money to be spending on the bikes for a little while Thankfully the BMW is all together and just needs tuning work before riding to Kentucky NEXT MONTH!!!!

Cool Mike, I think that will look better than a seperate screen and hand guards I put KLR hand guards on the GL this spring and they are great for the cold but kind of look out of place. That should give the protection without the ADV look.

Damn straight. And I'll be riding the XS to the Thaw. Hoping I don't need them. The fairing is for the Honda, but I don't trust the honda on a long trip yet.
