Just brought in a new vapor blast/vapor hone machine:
What brand is that Irk? I've been looking at Vapour Technologies for a while, but the cost in Australia has been a bit prohibitive for me.
That's the brand- Vapor Hone Technologies. They're out of Lincolnton, NC so just a few hours from me.What brand is that Irk? I've been looking at Vapour Technologies for a while, but the cost in Australia has been a bit prohibitive for me.
Sweet!!
Not sure Teazer, I don't know him but ex Aussie M-X star Anthony Gunter is a good mate and lives near me and he has one, but I'd just like my own.... maybe Santa will be kind to me.Pete12, does Phil Pilgrim of Union Jack motorcycles still do vapor blasting? Not the same as doing it yourself, but might be cheaper. I remember he paid a fortune to install that equipment many years ago.
Thanks Irk, I'll keep looking. There are some reasonable ones out of China, I might go with one of them. That's the brand- Vapor Hone Technologies. They're out of Lincolnton, NC so just a few hours from me.
Hi Snout, I had a small soda blaster and liked it, but I would really rather have a vapour blaster instead. I will have a look at making one myself though, thanks.
Check out the 1980 kz750G side covers. Big improvement. Also kz1000 forks of the same year are the same length as the twins. Same forks Just different valving.77 KZ750B twin. All there and supposedly runs - although the smell of the gas tells me that is not the case just yet. When it is not in the teens out we will start the usual procedures of defunkifying.
