Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....

Frame base powder done. Airbrushing the final touches on the accent color as we speak, and is going for an industrial clear powder over that tomorrow evening. I'm stoked. The color is "raw stainless" Beautifique!!!

It matches the raw stainless exhaust to a "T". It even has that nice warm bronze tint.

Love the color. I get 15 mins a day on the computer and here is no better place to spend it! Looks sweet man!

Color looks great Kiley!

It's nice when you can add beauty to a normally overlooked part of a motorcycle.

Cool, I normally don't like anything 'silver' but, it's evolving nicely ;D

Thanks!

Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....

haha! Must have fell in the box on accident BR. I opened them to make sure that they were right. Glad they made the trip okay. I've been busting ass on Gretta, doesn't leave much time between that, work, and the wife. I'll be back! Gimme a bit to work on the bike and you'll see the updates!

Joe, I did indeed. I actually ordered them the day you recommended them to me. I actually just got done spraying them with my badger 150...and man, it's nice paint to work with. Had to scour the powder with a red scotch brite pad to make it stick, and add a bonding agent, but it's drying now and gonna be clear powdered tonight with an industrial 60% gloss. I can't wait!

I'll throw some pics up later tonight.

Thanks for the props fellas!

Nasty! I'm loving where you're going with this bike Kiley. You've totally shifted Gretta's style with these mods. You're doing amazing work dude.

+1!!!
Best idea I've ever heard!

I remember that a lead designer for Subaru was actually a WWII Japanese fighter plane designer once upon a time. So that's when they developed that interesting front end look that a prop wouldn't be out of place on. I thought that was cool.

Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....

So Kiley is comming over to the Resistance. If you go WWII fighter I demand Gretta gets a tank portrait of her namesake as a pinup girl!
