WOW
she is a great looking bike. The paint looks great. I really like the color. BOT nomination next month.

Bike looks really slick and HOT. Love the color combination. I'm sure it was worth the wait and effort. :D Good job VH.

Viet, amazing job, truely inspirational. The metal work on your bike is first class. I was in Ho Chi Minh city last month, I wish I had read your post before my trip as I would have liked to met the machine and it's creator in person ;)
Outstanding work!!

I think I'm heading to Vietnam in December to visit some friends. I'd like to take a look at this in person.
Welcome to Vietnam. Pls shoot me an email to /viethorse1 at gmail dot com/ then we can have a beer session beside the bike if you love to. Hopefully the bike will still with me then. 8)

That bike looks seriously Italian. Where did you get the tank?
You are seriously correct! And especially the tank. The bike inspired me on tank design is Ducati 1000Sport.
And if you follow my thread, you may know for sure that the tank has been fabricated in Vietnam by Vietnamese mechanics.

Thanks. Actually the bike could be looked somehow cooler, no, HOTTER, if I can have the Ohlin looks front forks.
The front forks you see on the bike is from a 1994 FZR1000 and I choose not to repaint the frork tubes as the tube surface has sort of machined lines, very very small and it would not keep the paint well.

Oh, that's pity. It's always great to have others' view and comments, especially inmates from DTT where you all have the Ton-up experiences.

Came out great - how's the ride?

Thanks.
Unfortunately I had a test ride. And it made me crazy as I have too little time to test and have no time to ride then, since riding her home for a week! Damn it!!
The riding feeling was great, I would confident say so. At first, quite strange as the two piston stroked to two sides and make the bike a bit vibration, especially when the bike in idle mode. But then when I pull the throttle some more, bike came stable and.... damn, really happy.
I have taken the bike on the city road for around 5miles home. Not too speedy as street was quite crowded.
Bike handling was great. It's pretty light and easy to take it over the corner. Also the seat is quite low, the bike COG itself is also low, so that give me much more confident while cornering than the original bike.
Front upside down forks was great. I can feel it. But the rear monoshock, I did not have a chance to feel how it performs as there wasn't bumpy road.
The exhausts are really crazy! It's pretty loud and very powerful sound. I can confidently challenge any Harley Davidson exhaust!!!
Ah, front dual-disc brake functioned very well. Rear brake consider just for fun.

That's it for a 5miles ride home.
