Re: CB360 from Dallas
Very nice, that's going to look really sweet. Glad to see another DFW build.

Ringo said:Wow man, nice work so far! Maybe I missed it, but what's the color scheme for the tank?
treitz said:Dude. That green is awesome! Can't wait to see your tank finished!
Glad the speedo inlay turned out. Looks sharp put together.
Can't wait to get started on the kz!

I'm going to rebuild the MC on the CB today. Is it a bad sign when the brake fluid has turned into a saw dust looking goo/powder?
treitz said:Plan is to pick up the KZ tonight. Assuming he didn't sell it out from under me this weekend... lol. I will post a bunch of pics.
Are you working on the RD and CB at the same time? Or are you trying to finish the CB before jumping into the RD? My buddies dad is building a RD400 right now. Looks like a fun bike!
treitz said:Bahaha that is hilarious.
Yeah my brother told me it's 75 there today. Ridiculous. The roads here = a ice rink. It snowed, and than rained, and than froze. Perfect for riding right? lol
I am sort of okay with it though because it makes me feel less rushed to finish my bikes. I have about 4 months before it even STARTS getting warm.
BTW my brother is looking for 1 or 2 vintage bikes for him and his wife to cruise around on. However they don't have a garage to do a rebuild, so he would prefer something ridable and inexpensive. If you come across any gems that you don't buy yourself you should let me know. I paroozed the DFW craigslist today and bikes seam pretty pricey down there. But that's probably because you can ride them year round![]()
