I agree, the only glimpse of a silver lining I would find is if all (or at least the most agregious) who were involved be prosecuted to the fullest extent.Rich Ard said:This is one of those stories where I don't see much silver lining. Every time another piece of it comes to light it looks worse. I hope Steven King can tie it all up at the end.

They detained two more bikers today. Charged them with "gang assault."
Has a pic of the dude that got ran over. He got messed up pretty bad. He's getting some money from the city.
He was denied a permit in 1999 and 2000 due to unpaid fines on previous violations. He's had 16 violations since then and was in the commission of a crime by standing in front of the RR preventing it from leaving. If he got hurt, too fucking bad, he shouldn't have been there.ApriliaBill said:Not that I want anybody paralyzed, but a story came out yesterday, that the biker that was run over, is a "habitual offender" he has no license and is prohibited of having one till 2017. So... if he had been following the law, he wouldn't have been there in the first place.... I don't think the city owes him anything.
Look, if I'm breaking a law and get injured, how am I afforded any coverage under the law I am breaking????
