Re-post kick start wont engage the motor cl350

If you have the bike in neutral, you can quickly rule out and binding there. If it's spinning the inner clutch but not the basket, then your clutch cables are adjusted too tight. If it's spinning the inner and outer clutch basket, then you have a seized piston or problem with the valve train. If it's not engaging at all, check the wire clip on the kick start gear. It rides in a groove in the gear and the end fits into a slot in the case. It causes the gear to move out on the shaft and engage with the engine, then retract when the lever goes back up.

Ok got the clutch cover off again and kicked it. The clutch move but the gears don't, the start to but stop, they move with the generator so the problem is the kick starter?

You don't have clutch assembled properly, very easy to get wrong with 'inside out' clutch

I'm having clutch issues as well. The Clutch plates are always loose even with clutch not engaged. It has all circle clips and plates, maybe their not in the right order or backwards. When I kick it doesn't move the pistons at all. Only from the stator do the pistons move. Anyone have an idea? Was the answer stated and I didn't notice??

Kick Start on the CB350 turns the transmission input shaft. Input shaft turns clutch, clutch turns crank. If the clutch slips, the crank doesn't move.

Fix the clutch, the kick start will turn the crank.

This is different then most dirt bikes, the kick start on them usually turns the crank directly.
