Love it. As a former air cadet who was planning to be a pilot in the RCAF this is right up my ally. I love the A10 and if we had them that would be my ride of choice had I finished the ROTC (Military University here) mom made me get out as the airforce basically killed her older brother, my favorite uncle

I got the fuel lines hooked up and after a few kicks got the engine to pop and stumble a bit. Yay! There are a few things that Levi and I are going to try and finish up over the weekend. We;ll see how it goes... ALMOST THERE!!!!!!

Cory, figured you'd get a kick outta this...

When given to me, I was told it was a Warthog round. Upon further investigation, I've found it to be a M230 Apache round.
But hey... 30mm is 30mm, right :p

Well, it's alive! And to prove it there's this:

Those of you who are familiar w/ 360s listen closely as Levi walks around the other side. Hear that squeaking/whistling sound? We think I've got a leaking carb boot that's sucking air. Runs like that, too. Opinions?

So, it needs carb boots right away and I'm still waiting for the seat. The chain is closer to the rear fender than I'd like so there is some adjustment there and I was in my 50s when I started this, but in my 60s now and I'm somewhat regretting the lack of electric start. Until I get it running right I won't be able to see how the suspension does and how the handling is, but it sure stops well! It sounds good at idle but I've yet to see how the 378 conversion has improved things but I will soon!

You've been mostly-dead all day.

Oh yeah. You'll feel it when it's running right and not sucking air. If you got rid of any starter stuff and want to go back, I have some to send you.

I'm looking forward to having it run and actually be able to wring it out some. It was always s good runner, started easily, and was reliable for an over 40 year old bike.

I'll probably be ok w/ kicking it, I hope. I've still got the solenoid and the sprocket n dogs are still on there but I'd need the starter and chain. We'll see, I'm rusty right now.

When it’s running right, it’ll be alot easier to kick over. Atleast my DS7 is easier to kick over, when it’s running right... when it’s running right.
