Shorai Phantom Black Battery

Hey guys, I know this is an old post but I'm looking to get a smaller battery, too. '78 CB550K. I have a new R/R from Rick's Motorsport. Is that all that I'd need? I'm sure cleaning all electrical connections will help, but if I measure the voltage output at idle and high up in the RPMs and it's fine then I should be safe?
