Should I buy it????

Well I know who I have to keep my old bikes away from, you molester. ;D Yeah I just heard that atf trick the other day. I was reading the back of a can of sea foam and it said you could use it to free up an engine too.

Well since Alex is on his last 4 brain cells I will tell you all my solution! He has another 350 motor that is free and flows the gears sittin on his work bench! He wants to use the older 350 that is in the bike because it is said to have a better cylinder and cam for making HP. My solutions was use the top end of the motor that is locked, rebuild it, and place it on top of the other bottom end! Why not! Then you could always still build the other one back while not in a bike if you wanted too!

I like it. That's a great idea. It's not like it has to be numbers matching or anything.

Yeah, if the free-it-up tricks don't work that's what I'll do... assuming it's that simple (I have no idea). Maybe I'll ask PJ when I get closer to tear down.

It is that simple on the 350 man. The bottom cases were all the same. The jugs are even the same. The head and cam are what were different, and those are salvageable no matter what. Theoretically, all you have to do is put the older head on the newer motor and whammo. Full custom.

I will say this though. I am rebuilding a complete bottom end for Gretta just to have the peace of mind that she is sound. I don't want a PO problem haunting me later. She runs fine, but this is a self assurance thing.

That's what I'll do then. I'll also be rebuilding the bottom end of the original motor. Both as an exercise in learning and as a back-up. Thanks for the info Kiley!
