To lower the axle and move it back I cut up another swing arm and took the mounting plates out and welded them to the existing axle plate and filled in the blanks with 1/4" plate. I still have more welding and reinforcing to do but I'll do that after I take the bike all apart. You can't really see it in the picture.
I mounted a SL350 front fender, some thick dirt bike handle bars I had, a CL350 gas tank, I welded on some side covers to hide the battery from view, and extended the exhaust pipe and mounted two Harley Sportster mufflers. I think they are a good size but they are heavy. I ordered a Honda XR450 rear fender, it should be here today.
The rear shocks are kinda soft. They aren't too bad actually but I was experimenting and I cut a one inch spacer and put it them on top of the spring. Now they are a little too stiff so I'm going to cut half inch spacers tonight and try them out.
