Calm down and sail on
Alright, you guys should know me by now that I like to have multi-purpose posts so here it goes.
I took a road trip from LA to Mass in mid October, I then flew back down to LA to go to work offshore. I pulled 6 weeks, went home for 2, and now I'm back on for 4 weeks. My truck has been in Cape Cod since. I'll be getting off the 7th of Jan and flying straight back to MA to get my truck. I'll be in the Boston/NYC area for a week until I attend the Bruins vs Maple Leafs hockey match on the 14th.
Here's the thing, I'll driving south from that area the next day, 15th. If anyone needs or wants any parts from someone up north along the route I'm taking, let me know and I'll load it up free of charge. I'll even come off the highway a fair distance to grab it/meet you/have lunch, beer/sleep in my tent in your yard for the night. I thought I would give people the opportunity to maybe ship some bigger ticket items(frames, engines, front ends, etc.) to someone south of them if needed.
Just let me know if anyone is interested just let me know!
Secondly, I need front axle spacers for a 81 XS 650 front hub.. I want to see if anyone has any spares laying around before I have some made. Standard bearing and seal sizes I imagine as it's the stock hub. I'd be willing to pay for them and/or pick them up if along said route, or exchange them for shipment of another item along said route.
