Squirley's Kawi H1 build thread

Man! it has been a looooong time since I've posted anything on this. As much as I would like to say that I have been puting this thing through its paces, that is not the case. Start up is taking all my time so the bike has been sitting in nearly complete condition. Everything is done (except minor chamber tweaks) but I cant get the damn thing to run...Ive got spark, compression and fuel but no vrrrooooooooom...
Anywho, hopefully I will post a happy update soon, but until then here is a shot of the paint, I'll smap a few of them on the bike shortly...

Just a little update...even though I didn't bolt them on straight, made some headlight brackets.
Tins are just sitting on the bike, just need to re-route the wiring then bolt it down.

I know how tough it can be to keep at it. Believe me.... it'll be so nice to have it ride-able!! :D You're gonna love it! :)
 
So I have been getting some questions regarding the headlight brackets... I CNC'd the clamp, welded on some milled plate for the ears and then polished them out. Here's some pics

THAT is a tasty looking bike... better keep a hanky handy... people will drool on it.
