Cleaned up, sanded and ready to mount the tail light.

Glued an o-ring to LED tail light

Now it's rubber cushioned.

Have to weld a couple of tabs on then I'll use a second o-ring to hold it in place. Slick and simple.

Needed a license plate light so another I used yet another LED. i love these things! Cheap, bright and easy to fit almost anywhere. The round thing is an aluminum washer that is part of the mount I came up with.

Goint to shield the back side of the led so it only shines on the plate.

I have my plate in the same spot. Cop told me to relocate it. Its not fully visible he says. I laughed to my self as i thought, "not visible to red light or toll cameras you mean" hahaha.
He let me go with a "suggestion" to relocate the plate... Hahaha. Still haven't. Nor will i, yet. Lol

So glad to see you frenched in the taillight! Too many people put long hard work into their café tails and then just slapped mount a taillight on the back of it and it ends up looking unfinished and tacky. What are your plans for the exhaust?

It's not possible for me to do things half assed lol. Thing is, it's so silly to make a nice tail then not french in the light. It's very easy to do.

The exhaust will be stainless with a shorty Lossa reverse megaphone muffler.

Correct. The entire wheel and brake assembly (minus the caliper carrier) is 2010 Kawasaki KLR650.
