Thanks everyone. Feeling much better now about the whole thing.

Unfortunately the rest of the guys are kinda over it at this point. Do count on us in for next year.

Also, we'll leave the light on and the red carpet out down here labor day weekend.

Feel free to show up the day of with a canopy and a cooler full of Straub to people watch all day.

Cost: 1 pan of haluski and 1 Straub

Sorry to hear about that.

I know Laura pretty well, and she's a very cool chicka, so if she said "no thanks" then I assure you there are probably some very good and legally binding reasons for it.

There are contracts with the city, vendors, advertisers, etc. Lots of places for a little technical "gotcha" to spoil the soup.

I hope those that attend have a great time!
 
Sorry to hear about your denial, Chad. I dunno, my dealings with Laura (albeit, quite minor dealings) have not been praiseworthy, either. Took continually hassling her with emails to so much as to get any sort of reply from her, pertaining to bands for the event. And when she DID finally reply, it didn't sound like an honest reply, shall we say.

i have the cure for that...everybody fire up our jap scrap..being hardley guys they would fear cooties etc that
may damage the billet dipped in chrome bikes / soil there fresh bought motor co clothing...thus leaving in a snit..

i'm planning on being there right at 12 when it starts, so i'll look for you guys. hopefully there'll be a spot for me!

i can only stay for a little bit since i have a wedding to go to though

Swung by Richs and dropped a few things off for the show. He was busy getting his bike ready. Its looking great as always. His wife Meg is going all out to give us dumb lunks a cool spot to meet up at the event so make sure ya say thanks guys. The tent, table, and a couple chairs are loaded up. Ill be swinging by my buddys to grab the banner and flyers in the AM. The RD is gassed up and ready, my buddy Matt whos riding in with me has his SV all prepped too. Got a call from an esteemed member tonight, and a DTT favorite bike will be there. Also, our boy JFish hit me up. If we can find him a ride over from Lawrenceville, hes going to bring his crutches and rock out with us. Overall, I think were ready to have a great time. Looking forward to seeing some folks I havent seen in awhile, and finally meeting some of the newer members. See yinz in a few hours!
 
I'm pumped about this........

In Pitt now visiting the family. But we will be there before noon to help set up.
 
Hey folks. I'm new to the board but I wanted to say that today was a real blast and I'm glad I got to meet some of you guys. I was farting around on the blue xs650 cafe with the brown seat. It'd be cool to meet up again and do some wrenchin and what-have-you.
