Stripped cb350 engine screws

Hey guys,
Like most of y'all I had an issue with stripping out the screws on my engine while trying to change to new bolts. I search the different forums for various different ways to try and get them out. I tried easy outs which only seemed to bend or break off inside causing more of a problem. I tried to use a dremel to cut a new slot for a flat head and could not seem to get that to work as well. Thats when I went the route of drilling off the heads and discovered a way that I did not seem to find on the forums, could work well getting certain stripped screws out, and could help anyone that was stuck trying to think of ideas to get them out. If an idea like this has already been posted I am sorry for the repost.
I ended up getting a 7/32 titanium drill bit and would drill into the stripped screw until the head of a flat head was just a little bigger than the hole in the screw. I would position the flat head and tap it in with a rubber mallet and just unscrew the stripped bolt.

First off get yourself a set of JIS screw drivers. The screws on these bikes "look" like Philips, they are not. tThe internal design is completely different. Here is the basic difference, and they also sell good sets.

If there is a small inkling of a head left, I have used a hand impact driver. There are those that do not condone this method, but if you have a feel and understanding of the metals involved, you can have some successes.

example of the bit you want these will literally stick in a sidcase crew so hard you must pry them out
and with a clean screw head,no dirt, they work without using an impact most times
i like to use a 1/4" speed wrench, handy to push with

I used a hand impactor, it worked fantastic. You can get a cheap one at advance auto or harbor freight for 10 bucks.
