I'll put you on the bunkhouse list P. If you end up having a friend come, let me know so we can make sure we have room. I expect you will be going on the Friday ride then?
BTW, the bunkhouse is not the "ho-stell" we stayed at before. It is at the actual campground. I don't think they own the hostel anymore.
Dustin, if need be I will ride out of my way to meet up with you for the ride down. You are going. We shall mock Phil and Shane mercilessly at the Mods vs Rockers.

I will need to go. I have a shitty month long project that ends right before then. It will be theropy. Phil I think is lending me his truck and trailer. My 350 would be a tough ride to Tenn.
Well, I wouldn't mind sleeping in the bunk house but my brother, sister and brother-in-law are probably gonna come with me. That might crowd up the works a little bit.
I am saddened to report after starting this whole thing and Mike doing the real work I may not get to come. I am still trying to sell a house and been paying mortgage and rent for 3 months and we have run out of disposable income. If we do not sell soon I will have to miss this. We already had to cancel the May NH Family trip. Wish me luck on the sale, otherwise have fun and I hope to get to the next one. I am totally bummed.

It effects all trips for the summer. Basically if we haven't sold, all extra cash goes to pay another months mortgage. We won't have heat bills etc from now on so that helps a bit but we friggin should have sold the damn place by now, but there is 150 houses like ours on the market, all in the same price range, half of them new builds and we need someone to like ours the best and it hasn't happened yet. We are about ready to go crazy. If it weren't for bike therapy, and the fact I bought most of the parts and materials I need to finish before we moved I would have gone crazy a month ago. The new company I moved to paid for the first 60 days of expenses but we have been on the hook for the last 3 months paying for 2 places and it has eaten all the extra funds away. If we have it sold soon I will be ok to book the trip as the mortgage payment is about half my paycheck a month.
I do understand your position Mike. We were renting a place for 9 months while working on selling our house in Atlanta and we had to make some sacrifices to keep from going broke.
We will all send good karma to the real estate gods in hopes that you can make it down soon, at least for some BBQ at Kiley's.
Thanks Mike, I remember you telling me that at Barber, the good Karma from this place got me the new job and got us back under one roof as a family again. Maybe it will get the house sold so we can get completely settled in our new town etc. This place feels more like home than the old place ever did and we are renting an little crappy old house etc. At least it has a garage for the bikes ;D I really hope it sells soon so I can get the trip to the Dragon, but if not, I will hopefully make another one of the GTG's Hell we pulled barber out last year at the last minute and had a great trip.
Looking like I might have to bail this year. Work is super busy an ive got some family I need to visit around the same time. It'll be close, but Mike, I'll keep you posted.
Ian, we all understand how work and family can keep us from our hobbies.
I think you all have already seen my other post about my wreck on Saturday. I just wanted to add that I still plan on coming to the GTG, but I am not going to get there until Friday evening and I will be driving. I'm not sure what I'm going to do while you guys ride. If my ankle is better by then, maybe I will go hiking. I still cant wait to hang out with you guys again back at camp while we tell stories around the fire or whatever bike is being overhauled.
I applaud your spirit Mike, I don't think I could handle being at the dragon and not riding, I guess I could go fishing around there during the day, but I'd still miss riding. Hope you guys have fun, and if anything changes as far as my schedule, I'll let you know.
I reserved my cabin yesterday. I should have my sister and her husband, my brother and hopefully my girlfriend all tagging along. We should all be on bikes as well.
