The Travelling Gremlen Bell! In Kentucky getting Rusty.

I don't think so. We may have talked about giving it to Chuck at Mid O.
In order for me to make much use of it and not lose it riding gnarly singletrack on my KDX, I'd need to have a running street bike first!

EDIT - GS750 is back in action, the only issue from the last October's 10 day mountains trip was the worst case of hot clutch swell I've ever witnessed... EBC discs out, 43 year old stockers + EBC springs in, good to go

Its been 12 years since I first proposed this idea. I'm amazed its still going!

I don't know how many years its been since my last post... 5? 6? more? Anyways, My bike is almost rebuilt and better than ever. Could I get the bell back some time this fall for some Pacific North West Costal riding?

The Bell is currently with Chuck78 in Columbus, Ohio as passed on at this year's Mid-Ohio. We should make this happen.

I just became the keeper of the Germlin Bell 2 weekends ago as it was passed along to me from Irk @ my #1 holiday week if the year, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days Festival.

First ride with the Gremlin Bell accompanying me was today on my '77 Suzuki GS750 corner burner road tripper machine. I'm honored to carry this on to it's next chapter.

@ basement rat
I've gotta use this as an excuse to do more than 2-3 epic rides a year here in the immediate future, & I can pass it back to you shortly.
Tentatively Mohican State Forest / Walhonding area ride a week from today, Southeastern Ohio twisties ASAP...

I usually do a big 10+ day epic Eastern mountains twisties motocamping adventure, 7 days of mountain riding from Eastern Kentucky &/or West Virginia, following the Appalachian hills & mountains the whole way through the Smokies etc, through Eastern Tennessee / Western North Carolina, leading up to Barber Vintage Festival the first week of October. If it's not needed prior to that, but certainly can be expedited for some PNW travels after some GS750 miles here.

My wife & I met up with Hurco550 today at the Throttle Co. Ride-In bike show, maiden voyage with the accompaniment of the Gremlin Bell!
