My buddy Ryan and I are still in for a tent spot. That bastard rode his new concours into work today in 28 degree weather. I'm jealous as hell.

Unfortunately I do not believe me and Jenn will be going. We will plan on making it to Barber. We may swing by on our way through to NY but its tough to tell when we would be able to go there too. I know whaa whaaa. Everyone stay safe and someone drink a natty for me.

No flug, we got a couple of cabins.3 and 1 I think.....doug's neighbors!

Can someone help me out with the current locale etc for this one? Maybe update the original post in this thread with the current dates / location?

I'm going to be getting back from another summer vacation in the middle of July, but who knows, maybe I can sneak away ;)

Tim, as an administrator, it's your responsibility, nay DUTY to attend all get-togethers ; )

It's not like it's for fun or anything.

Wow! You all just made the best Monday I could've asked for. It must be fate. I live 3 streets from the 129 Dragon, in Maryville, TN. We were back and forth on going to the event in Ohio, but now i'll confirm that i'll be here, enjoying everyone from DTT. If I can be of ANY help with organizing this, please let me know, I live here and can tell you anything you'd like to know, we've been here since 93.

I guess its time to start a build thread. My new goal: Riding a few streets over to spend the weekend hanging with you guys, hopefully atop my own completed cafe build.

We've turned our attached garage into a little bike shop for all of our projects, so if needed, we can hep out if anyone has issues. There is also a shop called Cycle Stop located on 129 that can swap tires, etc., if anyone runs into any problems.

I look forward to this, and maybe, considering its 23 pages now, a new stickied thread could be made with the definitive plans so people don't have to browse thru so much information before finding details.

P.S. As for local(nearby) bars, drinking and partying at the camp sites will probably be more entertaining, but Knoxville is a hell of a place to find some fun little clubs and bars for drinking at night if anyone is interested.(No offense to anyone local, I just don't care much for Big Daddys, the nearest bar to 129.) Also, the Time Warp Cafe in Knoxville is a cafe coffee joint that has Tuesday night classic import gatherings, and may be interested in having a meet and greet that weekend, though im sure we'll all be hanging out on the dragon, jumping off the bridge into the lake and hanging at the little pull-offs that now have tables now and pavilions in some places.

BTW: I didn't read this entire thread, so are there more local Maryville DTT people? I'd be very interested in meeting any members in the area, as honestly, i've only Heard of a few cafe bikes in Knoxville, and haven't met anyone else locally who has a cafe or who build cafe bikes.

Thanks everyone, I look forward to the DTT get together. - Cody

Tim, the GTG is July 29-31 at the Punkin Center Motorcycle Resort in Maryville TN. I agree this thread has gotten a bit long and scattered. Since I can't edit the first post, I will make a new one tonight when I can use my computer and will copy over any pertinent info so it is easy to find.

And welcome Cody! You are a lucky bastard to live in such great riding country. If we need some local help, we will hit you up. And Im sure that since we will have so many old bikes there, someone is bound to need the services of a shop. Although, we are a very self reliant group.

Have you ever been to the campground we are staying at?

I have been to the punkin center, but its been years. This week sometime i'll go and take a couple pictures for everyone. Its extremely easy to find, and is located on your left side if headed "up" the dragon, only a few miles down 129. It'll be a great location for everyone, and along with my self, I know how "we" are about road-side bike fixes, etc., but at least everyone will know a welder and bike shop will be accessible if anything were to happen, we'll assume its a trouble-free get together for all of us.

Maryville is a Beautiful city/place to live, but when you've been here for years, you forget sometimes. Getting to meet up with everyone is sure to bring back how fun and enjoyable this place is.

If anyone has any additional questions, feel free to ask, and i'll chime in the new thread if necessary.

Thanks! :)
