That seat is perfect for the bike. Homemade or purchased?

Purchased. Got it from Wrenchmonkees. I was trying for a speedy build with this one.

Looks good with those clip on bars. I'm liking how many RD's are getting built right now

Quick update:

I mounted the seat. Made some simple mounts on the cheap:

I need to shorten the bolts a bit.

I made a fiberglass pan for the seat upholstery. Needed to stiffen it a bit with aluminum. I dropped the pan off at my upholstery guy on Saturday, it should be ready sometime this week.

Travis laser cut a gauge bracket for me. Unfortunately, we missed a couple measurements so I had to modify it a bit with the angle grinder. Got it mounted it up this evening, I'll have to modify the headlight a bit to accommodate the speedo and tach cables.

Got my tail light in this afternoon. Ran out to the garage and installed it. It's perhaps the brightest tail light I've ever seen. Don't worry, the bezel will end up black.

Really nice looking bike man ! like the flow of the tank and tail ...

The seat is covered. Need to bleed brakes, jet the carbs, and reassembled the kick start and I should be able to take her for a spin. After that it's time to disassemble for paint and clean up.

So, been slacking. It's been a while since I completed this project but I've been slammed with freelance projects and my normal job. I got the old girl painted, rode her for a bit, and then swapped the DG exhaust for some Moto Carreras. Here's some photos.

With the DG exhaust
