What do you guys think??

Hopefully the RC-51(My opinion). Now come on guys..... everyone has guilty pleasures and impure thoughts that they don't speak of. Now from the time I wake up in the morning until bedtime my day is filled with impure thoughts. My guilty pleasure, which I have never told anyone until I met all my dear friends at "Do the ton" is listen Journey, Bob Seager, and maybe Foreigner. ;D I am a product of the 80's..... what can I say.

I actually want a 1999 Buell Lightning. That bike makes me smile. A buddy of mine just bought a 2000 Aprilla Mila. 1000cc, 60 degree V Twin Rotax motor. Scary fast bike, and I love the sound of a sportbike V-Twin that thumps at idle. Sounds like a Huey helicopter from the Vietnam War era. Chop, chop, chop. Sort of like an SR500 with a Supertrat exhaust pipe. That sounds cool too.

So come off it already.....which BIKE ??? !!!

My vote goes for the iconic RC-51 as I have lusted after one of those from the first time I laid eyes on one at my local Honda dealer.
A guy I ride with has one and it's a torque monster out of the corners,as is his green TL1000 which I refer to it as The John Deere since it has duel Yosh slip-ons and sounds like a tractor when he romps the throttle at low speed. A little heavy for my taste, but no more than my fat 88 FZR1000 I had at the time, but that's not saying much!

I will say that I love the ZX-7 as I think they just have that certain LOOK that just epitomizes what a fully faired sport bike should look like.
Just look at how compact they appear from the side,no wasted space. Weight wise I wouldn't expect it to be too much lighter than the RC-51 and the RC will hold a power and torque advantage.

Between those two though it's no contest..RC-51 all the way.

Yeah.. I agree!!.. the RC-51 has gotta be the sweetest of the sweet... ;D.. that is IF I was going to get a sportbike...

OK.. I know NOTHING about new Sport Bike helmets...

However that being said,....** IF ** someone had to get a helmet to go with a...lets say...04 ZX7R or a...lets say a... 03 RC-51, what should I get??...(oop.... I mean, what helmet should that someone get?)

Arai? Icon? Shoei, Soumy? what???... ???

Check out this dealer here in Seattle. I have never been there in person, only the website. Check out the first bike...... very nice ZX7R. A little spendy, but nice. Also check out the Honda NSR250 which is four bikes down from the ZX7R. I would love to get my hands on that little 2 stroker. Does anyone know if that price is high for the NSR? I don't know alot about them except that I want one.

I gotta say, the TL1000R wins of the RC-51. With twin Yosh, it sounds mean and pissed off all to hell. It would be my beast, if i could deal with the insurance hit...

That said, some of the buells are cool too... but i LOVE my GS1100. I keep thinking about making it into a 1500cc torque MONSTER, you know, the kind of bike that can wheelie on the power in 5th.

Helmets should be snug to start with.
No pressure points (pain). You should not be able to fit your finger up from
your nose toward the top of the helmet.
Material inside helmets will give (stretch) while being worn.
Wear a helmet at least 10mins before you buy it. If it hurts after 5mins.. imagine what 2 hour ride
will feel like?

It is just a matter of fit and comfort and price range.
happy buying
