I thought the same thing at first, but the throttle shouldn't effect the mirror since it's hard mounted to the inside of the bar. I can't believe I just made a serious comment on this thread. ;D

but the "set screw" should keep the throttle from twisting.

Ichiban, thanks again for more great technical advice. I have a couple of questions though. Can you tell me what grit of sandpaper you used to razor-sharpen that pipe and where can I get some pipe like that? I plan to mount a bar end mirror too.

I believe that was 2000 grit from the start.

He's using 220, but it's the style that's for sanding wood. ;D
