Yeah, the XL600 is about 100lbs less then a CB450.
The CB needs better forks more as they are so thin but the stock XL forks look bad due to the 12" hanging under the axle and they need to be shortened for road use (for looks).

A CB350 isn't as light as one would imagine...

In fact... A little Google fu showa me that in stock trim, the 600 is actually 7lbs lighter than the 350 at 321lbs to the CBs 328.

The first time I went from my cb125 to my 400f I felt like it was made of lead!
