As far as the operator goes, it seems the alcohol is more of a performance inhibitor to minimize any top end shennanigans. Kinda like a liquid govenor.

So, today it's clean Carbs and got the motor back in so I can finish my exhaust and foot controls. All the controls are going to be on the left side... haha Should be wacky to ride the 1st time! Wating for the gagrage to warm up now.

And hey, thanks to every one that has been supportive of our little build-off. Some may think it's about getting an ego stroke and what not. But the fact is. It's just some fun between 3 fella's that have been dicking around on DTT together for a quite some time. And it's a great motivational tool to keep progress going on our bikes. It will most definitely ensure that the 3 of us are on the road by spring. Which is my favorite part. And if I can make it back east. There will more than likely be a part 2. The bike rodeo. Part one is about aesthetics, part 2 will be performance, handling and rider ability. Such as: A dirt drag, Maybe a barrel race/small oval? And a we should do a wheelie and burnout contest too!
For me, the best part of the Build Off is motivation. I am a natural born Procrastinator, so the build off forces me to get out and do some work. Having a deadline is a good thing for me. A very good thing.
I just like one stop shopping on my updates from the group thread. I'm gonna start only commenting on the build threads to talk smack about the other guys.
Got quite a bit done today... So I figured it was time for one last final mock-up. Here is a pic. I didnt realize there was a grease smudge on my camera lens. Which made it into every picture. Sorry for the blur. I will post a few more pics in the build-off thread.

bike looks great man! I can not tell if i like that gap between the seat and tank or hate it... ha ha ha love the overall look and the color on the frame is SPOT on!!!
