Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Final Mock-up!!!!

tank seat gap is always great in my opinion. I have like 2 or 3 inches between mine. For some reason I just like that gap on a bike with a very slim flat bench seat. Breaks things up nicely.

Hey I wanna have a little get together for the Boise Area DTT'ers @ my house. Just a little meet'n'greet. Whatcha think? I'll sent out some PM's and see what kind of response I get.

yea man that'd be fun!

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Final Mock-up!!!!

So I don't have too much progress lately. Been working On The GreeaBeans xs650. But, I did get it wired tonight. And we have spark. Still need to wire the lights, finish the tank so I can put fuel in it. Make a brake stay and shift linkage. But I'm getting close I suppose.

I motion that the green bean gets its own build thread.

F___K the greenbean...

Your motioning the wrong member. After I fix his bike, and make him a build thread. Maybe I should make him breakfast too...? Haha

Back to MY bike... So I decided to go back to the drum brake. The other wheel is cool. But, I dont think it would look too cool stuck in the back of some random persons car. The tire sucks, so that will have to be addressed.
So now it has 2 18" rims which I think give it a really balanced look.

Fucking GreenBean...... Pffffbbbtt! Ya, let me get on that

Just breakin' your balls dude. It's cool you're helping someone get their bike squared away.

Back to the crazy fish....

So you were worried about the safety of the Triumph wheel and tire, or that someone might steal it? Perhaps a stupid question, but you never know. I went out to my '64 Chevy II years ago to find the front bumper and turn signals missing.

Oh I know man... I'm just busting yers back, haha

No, I took the wheel off for saftey factor. It has the option of a disc brake. but I dont have any of the shizzle to do that yet.

Hell yeah! I'd ride it!

Just caught up on this build louie. That thing is sick. Love the frame colour, love the tank. love the whole thing. Great how the tank goes with the frame colour from both sides.

too cool for mortals ;)

cheers

The stance looks great. And the front wheel looks sooo appropriate on there. I think your there!

Thanks guys...

Maybe Im getting board. Haha.. My buddy Dale gave me a new front tire for my XR250R. But it was on a rim and I happen to notice the axles were the same diameter. So, of course I had to try it. haha This is why I love building bikes. I could quite possibly never finish a bike and be perfectly happy. Sort of a ever evolving machine, ya know...? Every time a different part lands in my garage I gotta try it. And it could go on forever.

No it's not staying (I dont think), But it is rad...

Looks good Louie, I've been following this through the build off thread, but gotta have more!

+1

It's the finish of the rim and spokes that do it for me. Throw a street tire on there and you're golden. I don't know though.....the back might need to be redone to match. More work.

if that is the dirt bike wheel i have the same one wiht a speed master that i am using on my 350 really looks good wiht a vintage street tire... i do love the big lugs of a dirt tire but not on that scoot

Re: XS400 El' Pescado Loco Which Wheel? Voting Poll!!!

Ya, I WILL NOT ride a full knob on the street. Thats just asking for it in my opinion.
