The NAPA stuff is ~$25 and works great - but you have to totally disassemble the carbs. We charge $75 for ultrasonic cleaning and reassembly for 2-cyl carbs - not sure how that compares to your local rates.

Do you use the NAPA stuff in ultrasonic?

Re: XV920 "Short Bus"

No sir, we use a ground-safe product. You could drink the stuff.

Simple green 1:1 water is actually really handy in ultra-sonics as well.. takes a little longer but ground safe.

I did wonder?
Can the NAPA stuff could become explosive if heated and used in ultrasonic cleaner? 8)

Re: XV920 "Short Bus"

As soon as I found a better way I got rid if it. That stuff is noxious

Re: XV920 "Short Bus"

Good enough for who it's for

It's for this build. I was making fun of myself.

The red is high-build filler primer to make up for my atrocious bodywork.

Crap. forgot we left the little heater going in there. Just ran in and checked it....88deg; 42% humidity. Tank looking good, though a bit tacky.
