YAMAHA RD250 Cafe Oz

Yeah Im looking forward to pulling them off the Cnc, just need to dimension the combustion chamber and they will be ready to go.The fender is pretty solid and has no flex at the joint, I have bolted it at the chain guard fixing and will drill and tap a second fixing into the swing arm, Im hoping there wont be an issue with the tire rubbing, time will tell I guess.

Hey Manolon, I agree with you about the indicators was disappointed in how big they were when they turned up in the post off eBay. I will leave them for now but might swap them as the bike gets finished.

So.. I'm just tuning in.. and OH MY WOW...

We have a little 1970 CS3 Scrambler in the garage waiting to get some loving when there's time.

Im really impressed with your fender set up. I have been contemplating the idea for a bit but I think you pushed me over the edge. I'm giving it a shot.

Ha, that was my reaction to your avatar...cracking ;D Not sure what else I will machine I'm sure I will find something.
Sxecafe Have a go at laminating some fenders I'm sure you will be successful, the front is easier than the back to do, just be sure to use woven Matt...go for it!

I mean the process is the same as glassing up anything else, after the prep, correct? I read that you brush a layer of resin on the cling wrap and lay woven matt down (which is the same as woven fiberglass, correct? want to be sure we're speaking the same terminology here) and build that up from there. Same as doing a seat etc, right?
