Been Around the Block
So i've been lurking the boards for awhile and posted here and there sporadically. I've done a couple other bikes but they were a couple years ago and were not what you'd call cafe style. And it was before this site whole heartedly supported bobbers and such. Anyways here is the next on my list. It's a '73 cb175. I've got a few pictures of what it looked like when i brought it home.
After alot of consideration i decided to add CL style high pipes
and make an attempt at a seat.
I made rearsets on my own, i work for a sign shop and we have access to CNC router tables and such, so
i made levers out of 1/4 aluminum and pressed in bearings and used bronze washers to make everything smooth.
Shift and brake linkages also done.
I then found a steal on a cd175 toaster tank. So here is how it sits today.
I also wanted some advice as to what to do with the gap now that sits between the seat and the new tank? I'm not really botehred by it
but i wanted to see what your opinions are.
Thanks and sorry for the long winded post, just wanted to get here and get it all out.
