I think it's gonna be sweet! I cna't upload pics for some reason anymore (to photobucket) so no pics of the hunk-o-steel but his bar clamps are starting out as a 1"x1.5"x18" chunk of cold roll bar stock. All i can say at this point is.....I miss having a bandsaw!

It's been a while since I've been on here, but you've done some crazy work to your bike. BTC is always changing whenever I check in! Looks great though man, it would be cool if you had different bikes of the different stages you made. Or a transformer bike, that would suffice lol.

Yeah unfortunately. My bandsaw died a fiery death a few years back and it's always been one of those...'I gotta get another' kinda things. I really do too....
I'd have used the chop saw but I need a new fiber disc.
So yes, I armstronged thru the chunk-o-steel with a hacksaw. whew.....
Got it chopped up and have shored up the individual blocks as of last night. I'm juggling several projects, not only Troy's but Ryan's rearset plates (that really are coming buddy!) a pair of CB175 manifolds for Chris as well as a bunch of 'pay the light bill' kinda work. Not bitchin' though...I love this shit and if it'll keep the bills paid I'll do this every day!

I hear ya man. I dont have too many premium tools. But, I seem to manage. And those little jobs, sometimes big ones, help keep the lights on here too. Sometimes ya gotta man up!

Troy now that i see you on the bike man... i have to say, bigger tank and FU bars get my vote. ... the bigger bars and tank will make the bike look bigger. I have to bear this in mind when i build all my old scoots so i do not look like a monster on them. you are not only a big dude but also tall, i think those drags, although they do look tight on the bike... just make it look like a tiny scooter under you, if you have your arms more "up" that would open up the bike a bit...

Yeah Joe, the bike is just so damned low and compact...so sweet. Add to that, while Troy may not be particularly tall he IS burly. And by burly I mean, "The dude I want at my back when fighting off the hordes...."

dand that sucker is slammed! man for some reason troy i thought you where taller (ha ha ha that is what i hear all the time) never the less i love the smaller tank and even the drags but with you on it... got to go bigger IMO... also one of hte nicest stances to a hard tail CB i have ever seen man very nice

Wow guys. Not even sure what to say. Thread has been going on with out me and I love it. Sorry I've been stupid busy lately. not even sure where to start. Ok I guess I do look somewhat large these days. I wish I could say that I was wearing insulated clothing in those pictures but I can't. I'm up to about 235# these days
I use to joke with an ol kayaking buddy of mine that I put on winter weight and I'll thin down a little come summer. The past couple years though that summer things not been working for me hahaha.
Anyhow, I appreciate the props from everyone. I don't have anything new to report. I've been working from daylight to dark on my nephew's house. Hopefully we'll be done with that in a week or so then its full steam ahead.
I'm not 100% sure if I'll be rockin all the new mods I have planned but if it turns out half as nice as what's in my head then you betcha. I can't wait to see the fruit of Swaggers labor...wait a minute that doesn't sound right haha
