I am done with that part of the cleanse and coffe is back! I am so happy! I love coffee!

Hurley, just wanted you to know bro! I bought some great beans from the local coffe shack and brought my french press to the office. I am enjoying a cup of arabic bean medium roast as we speak. Sweetened with an artificial sweetener, as I can not have any sugar still. Not as good as if it were sweetened with an orange grove honey, but it is still bliss!

you get the fancy coffee, i get the out of the machine leaves stuff in the bottom of your cup when your done wiht it coffee... not so good

WELCOME BACK TO THE DARK SIDE! man it must feel great taking sip after sip, i must say man, we are definately proud of you dude, you pulled it off and endured the torture, now the rest should feel alot easier!

and that coffee your drinking sounds delicious!
i hear the french press really brings out the flavors, would you recommend it?
 
Yea man, I love coffee. For christmas, my SO got me a travel press. Its awesome, take my fine coffee with me.

oh yeah, I assumed you had one! It is the only way to make good hot coffee and a toddy maker is the only way to make cold coffee period. If you are a real coffee person, go buy one of each, and they are very cheap compaired to other makers. Require more work to make a cup, but well worth the effort!

After you use fake sugar long enough, the real thing seems too strange.

I've been using a Mellita cone for 39 years. I'm afraid to try anything else. New is bad.

i agree, ive been using the fake stuff for so long that the real stuff taste weird. haha

as hardcore of a coffee addict as i am, i havent tried it yet, i know i know, what kind of coffee drinker am i right, haha.
im gonna buy one asap and experience for myself finaly what all the hype is about!

it actualy sounds pretty damn delicious! man i need some coffee, i havent had time this morning.
this is you getting back at me isnt it twisted!
you new i hadnt had coffee yet so you started a thread on the happyness that, that wonderful cup of liquid life brings us!
i guess i had it coming hahaha
 
As one of the DTT resident caffeine addicts, I guess I will chime in. I love my coffee, I am a huge fan, Drip, espresso, french press... you name it!

I will say the press is great, but for the sake of time, a good drip maker is key... This is the one I use: Technivorm Moccamaster KBTS

Great machine, I figured because lots of tasting rooms and such use it, then I has to be good enough for my kitchen. Kinda pricey, but I figured if I stop going to coffee shops for even a month, it would be almost paid for.

This place is also sweet... they have reviewed every maker out there... It is why I bought the KBTS.

There's something about drip coffee that just irks me. I can never get it quite like I can with a press. Plus, I've got the morning press down to a science. I can turn out a few cups in way less time than it takes to make a pot of drip.
 
In one of my offices the drip machine recently kicked. We dug around and found an old (70s I'd guess) percolator. Now that is some good effin coffee!

And for me black with no pollutants artificial or otherwise thankyouverymuch.

yep thats how I like it... sometimes I will take a little cream if the coffee isn't good, but if it is decent, I am all about REAL unadulterated cup o joe
