Coffee is good!

Very nice job making the pretty cream design Tim, have you ever been a coffee jerk? I did a short stent in a CH that a friend of mine owned. I wanted to open my own, but with the economy the way it is now, I am very glad I did not!

Nice cup though, makes me want to make a pretty one!
 
No - just got obsessed with figuring out how to do it over the last 4 weeks and I try to get as much practice as I can - means lots of coffee getting drunk.

I usually buy 49th Parallel beans, roasted in Vancouver. But it's tough to make sure they're fresh - ideally want to be using them within a week of being roasted.
 
Very nice indeed, Tim! I don't really have the right style of cups for a champion rosetta like that, but I do crank out the odd pattern in my Bodum glasses from time to time.

For some reason I find it easier to do a rosetta/fern/apple/heart when I'm pouring a ~90ml macchiato ???
