DO THE TON Mama Tried IV Oct 2013 - Barber Vintage Festival

Had second post op visit with surgeon this morning, going to have new x-rays every 6 weeks
They gave me the last x-rays so I overlaid them on the new ones from this morning.
I couldn't see any difference, even the pulverized bone /bone marrow looked almost exactly the same (it's a slow process)
It's now definite I won't be there this year
The fusion is going to take at least another 4~5 months (that isn't the issue, I know I would end up drinking too much then no one knows what will happen ;) ;D )
Thanks to everyone who made a donation, paid a few bills that were getting pretty worrying 8)

That would be cool, my wife would probably be happy, it would mean I'll have to tidy up my stuff ;D ;D

We are staying down at the big exit in Leeds - Daze Inn I think? We'll definitely be coming up to Kileys for the festivities during the weekend.

Robin is working on her bike to get a special package set up in time. It is looking nice!
 
So as we get closer to Barbers will there be some directions or at least an address for the festivities?
I would like to make it to Kiley's this year.

Yeah, a sign or banner out by the road would be helpful this year. Wouldn't want anyone else to fall over in a ditch ;) The EMTs down there are excitable.... they must not get out much!

Ok we are getting closer. I've not had time to keep up on the thread so would someone please enlighten me? What's happening this year? Is Kiley's an open invite? And what's the word on Ace? I actually expect some changes at Kiley's at least, simply due to numbers and the fact that his garage (and yard) were complete disaster zones (at times) last year.

I will add this: 1)please, if you use a tool put it back! This is no joke! If not, dark angels will visit you while you sleep and bad things will happen. I promise! 2)Be respectful, of everything. This is someone's private residence. It is not a free for all. It is a privilege to be there. There are those of us who want to keep being invited back. 3) Use common sense. Throw away your own trash. We are not your mother. Time to get off the nipple. Also, If Kiley does not know you and you want to attend you may be shit out of luck. But I can only guess. So, how's it going down and someone please tell me if I'm on track?
 
Sounds like Kiley's is a good time...sorry to hear that it seems it has got out of control in the past year or so. The human being is a funny animal...anyway...I am stoked get back to Barber this year. Didn't get to make it last year because of work. Also it will be cool to put some names with faces from DTT too! Just hope the kz440 is done in time!

I'd say thats on track. Last year was my first year and am thankful I was allowed to be a part of it all. I saw some things that I didn't really feel was cool but didn't feel like it was my place to say anything. It still might not be my place, but this year I'll say something anyway. I never saw anything major,just small things. But the small things are what really counts. It takes a lot for someone to open up there residence and the least we can all do is show the utmost respect and appreciation!!
 
I heard the real party was going to be at Toms place. Moonshine and Firearms! Woot!!!

Well I'm sort of reserved about my actual house as far as partying,I have a wife n 4 critters,it's not the partying atmosphere ,however,I know this area like the backs of my eyelids,and I do plan on taking a group on a ride at some point (play it by ear) out to the power lines somewhere to go shoot'n and I plan to bring some shine (provided i finish up the the wiring and a few other things on the latest cafe project in time to do a still run!!) to the party at the couple who've been gracious enough to open there dwelling space(never been there but ill damn sure help with security because folks ought to respect other folks stuff,& I'll bust yer ass fer not doin so!) for us to hang! I'm on the other side of town from barbers, but they are in Leeds I think which is basically where barbers is!! I have a shop with fab equipment and what not ,if u wanna do any welding or anything ,but no,I'd thought about offering a place to stay to the general DTT public ,but I decided I wanted to actually meet some folks FTF first,kindle some friendships and get to know some folks and maybe after we see how all that goes then maybe I'd let some selected ADULT folks with a sense of integrity & general respect for boundaries stay next year if they needed,cause I love meeting/hangin with folks and riding ,breaking bread, shootn with folks!!! but at the end of the day,I've gotta protect my family,they are my lEVERYTHING and not to sound cynical but,...theirs a lotta REALLY CRAPPY FOLKS AROUND THESE DAYS,& I'm not foolish enough to believe that just because your on the DTT forum that you've been vetted! But regardless ,SHOOT'N firearms yes!! SHOOTN MOONSHINE yes!! It'll be my 37th birthday and I wanna have a good time with some good folks ,but open house to party,not happening AT LEAST NOT this year ,ya feel me?

Oh BTW MY NAME IS JAY,TON UP TOM IS SHORT FOR TON UP TOMORROW! But when i joined the forum a i had was this crappy little iphone 3g and it wouldn't let me dothe whole thing .That's why I was like "sounds fun !" Cause I was like basically sayin"me too" but I forgot folks call me TOM on here,sorry for the brain fart;-(
