BTW - it's easy road access, so I fully expect to have plenty of motorcycle riding guests show up unannounced. I'll be disappointed if that doesn't happen.
You can count on it Tim. In case you haven't seen this thread, http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=51513.0, we were planning on lowering the standards of the neighborhood for a few days this spring.

Hopefully you can stick around a little longer this time Sean instead of grabbing your trophy and running.

:)

going all the days this time, will even have a fast bike to ride around... and a cooler full of yeungling, heard no one down there has that!

We actually do have yeungling here! But we always welcome out of town bottles (especially the black and tan yeungling)!!!

Just be careful at your pit stops on the way down brother!

One other VERY important thought on this event.

This is the DO THE TON Mama Tried IV get together. It just happens to fall on the same weekend as the Barber Vintage Festival. Subtle but important distinction that I think I personally lost sight of last year.
Last year did get a bit........commercialized. ;)
But having a DTT spot on the site was nice. It served as a rally point for the guys, and we got a lot of interest from the passers-by. 8)

Sorry we won't get to see you Tim, but congrats on the lake-house. ;D

Tim, first off let me say it will be very different not having you around this year. But given the circumstances, I totally understand why.

And instead of trying to message the 3 of you separately........ Kiley, Chris, and Scott: I have parts for you guys from Bradj. They will be in my truck for the trip down.

yeah, Cincinnati will be a blow on through type of town this time, replaced the laptop, never got to the camera though, one less thing to steal now haha

I will be attending and driving down and towing both of my bikes down early Friday morning.
Hopefully we can get the gas tank problem fixed on the Cafe Bike this next week and get it self sufficient.
Right now they have been doing break in runs on the dyno with a temp gas jug.

Have to work out some very unlevel areas in the fiberglass around the petcocks and also the petcocks are not big enough for the amount of fuel needed to run the bike it would be starving for fuel. The petcocks only have about an 1/8 inch inside diameter and we need 5/16 inside diameter. So we think we have found some new Pingles that will work without a lot of modifications.

I may also bring some leftover CB750K parts with me in case anyone needs anything and yes I do still have the 1981 CB750K gauges.

By the way I will also have my trailer with me so if anyone has a problem we can hopefully work something out.

Turn of events means I may be able to attend. If anyone has a man-sized spot of ground on a campsite, I would be glad to drop my sleeping pad and bivvy sack there in exchange for beer and/or a portion of the site fees... PM me or hit me on FB if we're friends. Thanks!

Woohoo!!!

Oh, it'll be good to see you too Rich ;) :P

wow, I didn't know DTT was doing a live bike build. Is there any other info on the Rocker ride? Did I miss something?

Nah, you didn't miss anything Kevin, I believe that they have copied the itinerary from last year on that site.

Alright!!! I booked a ticket! Thanks to DTT for the assistance with finding some lodging!

Arriving BHM on Thurs at 22:57

Departing BHM on Sun at 19:05

If anyone's heading to/from the airport around that time, I'm game to split transpo costs or contribute in any way to those giving a lift. Google gives the distance to the park as 14 miles, so a cab shouldn't be too bad, right?

(Aside from the humiliation and spiritual pollution...)
