nice! as you are hooking it up if you haev any ?'s let me know my buddy has run nos in his HD, and like 7 sport bikes... he is a great guy and would be more than happy to help out... can the motor lower end take the boost?

I am going to start it on the 20 hp shot...shouldn't be a lot more load on the bottom end. I think anything over 30 would cause some problems. The 30's I have always run only gain about 300 rpm when on, so its not the wheelie inducing fast-and-the-furious jolt that most people envision. Plus, it is a wet kit, so the mix is a little better than on a dry setup. And given the small bottle size, I won't be able to do much more than a 1/4 mile run at a time anyway. Should be just enough to be FUN!

So tonight, I finished up my preliminary jetting of the carbs for the new pipe, since I had the airbox off. Then I remounted the airbox. Then I added in the nitrous and fuel lines. Since this bike has really, really short carb boots and mounting flanges, I could not install the jets between the carbs and intake for optimal operation. I guess throttle body spray will have to do. This necessitated routing the lines into the airbox. Fortunately, the local hardware store had some grommets that worked really well for getting the lines into the airbox and still maintain the seal. It is still a reallyl small area to fit this stuff into and keep nice routing, with optimal injection, but I made it work. With all that messing around, this is as far as I got:

Thanks, guys! Sorry I don't have more to show for the evening's work, but I did get the solenoids mounted, the fuel pump mounted, and some of the plumbing connected. getting everything situated seems to absorb huge amounts of time, but I am satisfied with how it is all laid out. It is kind of odd looking, but is laid out to match with the tank, once it is installed.
I also got word that my friend is about done welding up the tank---should maybe have that back tomorrow, too!

Well, fellas, here it is!
I got the cut-outs done on the tank tonight, and cut the seat to fit the back edge of the tank. I installed it, and the nitrous and fuel solenoids would not clear where I had them. So I relocated the solenoids so the tank would sit down all the way. This is actually going to make for better fuel line routing anyway, so no worries there. And, I think the color of the anodized bits helps the high tech look a bit. Beyond that, everything fit how it was supposed to. So here are pics, but you have to imagine it polished...That won't happen until this weekend.
