Back again you all, been battling pneumonia again. It takes me a month to get back to somewhat normal.
Anyways I finally got the frame painted 2k epoxy primer 2k urethane. Now I will start cleaning parts with the ultrasonic cleaner and sandblast parts that need it.

What is the best thing to put in the gas tank to stop rust until I get to restoring the tank? If I have to reline the tank whatever I put in now I don't want it to make the sealer like POR-15 to fail.

If you're just letting it sit for a while, coat it with 2T oil and keep it empty of fuel.

Thank you, been struggling keeping a schedule on working on the RD350. Between family incidents, vacations and health problems. It's been slow going. I think I need to get selfish and put the restoration as a priority. Other than health issues I can put all focus on the bike. I would really like to have it ready for the Dream Cruise in Detroit a year from now.

I hear what you're saying... just hang in there and keep on plugging away. I'm ashamed to say that my Honda 360 project took ten years! I was still working at the time but that was way too long. I did the BMW after i retired and got it out in around two years. You're doing great and what you've accomplished so far is impressive.
