Looks awesome! The only thing that gets me are those super long brake lines-stick out like a sore thumb as clean as the rest of bike is.

yeah...those lines came on the bike..and since they were clean and nice...I didn't swap them...but after assembling the bike and due to lowering the front end...they are too long and clunky looking. I'll get around to swapping them.

been wondering what tank to get and poof right in your build is what I wanted What is it off of exactly?

this is the infamous 1965-68 CB450 K0 "Black Bomber" tank. Its by far (IMHO) the best tank Honda ever produced...

Re: SoCal Mut-N-Chop CB750

Finally got the upholstered seat pan back from the leather guy....I think it came out nice...

Re: SoCal Mut-N-Chop CB750

I really like your bike !
I was thinking of mounting white walls myself, but thought it would be to much bobber for a café, but you prove that it can be done.

Hope will get it running soon !

Re: SoCal Mut-N-Chop CB750

I think that looks real nice, man. Nice and plush but not too tall. Good stitching, too.

Re: SoCal Mut-N-Chop CB750

Oh yeah!!!! The Yuasa 7AH just didn't cut it...sooo....14AH, 210CCA, 1.68lbs...and tiny...2.28"x.4.45"x3.5"...BAM!!!

The company replaces no questions asked for a year...

I've heard mixed reports on Shorais for vintage bikes. I wish you the best of luck though. It certainly looks sweet.

I have the same, but mountes in my handle barrs.
I had to replace both led's already, and again one is now broken.
Hope you have better luck with them

Here is a site where you can at least buy new LEDs if you wanna try to repair them...

http://www.ledsupply.com/5mm-leds.php

Or did you ONLY replace the LED, already?

Re: SoCal Mut-N-Chop CB750

yes, replaced both last year by new leds with resistor :(
I guess the resistor needs to be stronger, to make sure it can handle the peaks in curency ?

We have a shop in my town, i will discuss with the guy what is best to do.

Here you can see them in my handle bars

You don't really see them at daylight, but as in the Netherlands you do need need to run turn signals if the bike is build before 1990 I just point out my hand. ( power ranger style )
At night, when you don't see my hand, the turnsignals can be seen ::)

Re: SoCal Mut-N-Chop CB750

Looks great. I kind of expected you to paint the center section of the seat black to match the tank. I dig itnthough...dig it a lot

That is hot man! Congrats on the completion. Looking forward to seeing the final shots! :-)

did a short 5 mile ride...and for those wondering how it's handle after lowering and lengthening it...it's pretty damn good!
