did not get too much done, well i put on 105 miles yesterday! was awesome!
the glide coat trick was awesome! showed me all my high and low spots... just did the final coat of Dyna-lite body filler... will sand that down and hit it again with another glide coat jsut to check it out... but i should have the seat done in the next day or so

it was like christmas!!! i got my wireharness from Steve... and WOW i have to say this sucker is awesome! all color coated, labled, each portion is wrapped and labled... just awesome work! ill get some pics of it tonight... also got the seat almost where i want it... i finished the glide coat, filled it again, sanded that all down, maked the spots that needed a bit of love, filled those with glaze, now i just need to prime, lay on the glide coat, sand it one more time to make sure she is smooth.... and with any luck i can lay some paint tonight on the tank, seat, and side covers... also got all the stuff i need to make the screens for the side covers so i will do a write up on that as well... had a ton of work to do this morning (for the office) so i did not get the pics loaded... but i will tonight! wait till you guys see Steves handy work! i am so impressed!

Great ink Brother. You getting it filled in black or shading? The seat is looking real nice and uniform too. I've noticed from other seats (including my own) that getting the seat really asymetrical is not an easy task.

white... all white! stripped the tank back down last night, going to use metal fill and then just powder it white (i have the exact match in paint so i can shoot the seat to match) everything is getting a fresh coat of white! CLEAN CLEAN WHITE!
more sanding last night... seat is almost there! few small sections to touch up wiht a bit of body filler, I really want to get some pics of the Wires that Steve did for me... ill try and get those up tonight!

ahhh my St. Paddys day was not all it was cracked up to be... my girl was shit faced, by the time i got done working on my brothers chop (which should be on the road this weekend and is COMING OUT AWESOME) i showed up to the bar to pick up the girls at like 11:30... there always has to be some sucker that got sucked into buying the girls drinks and shots all night... well of course he was not happy when i showed up to take away his entertainment... My girl is the leader of her pack so to speak and is the first one to hustle some guy out of his $$$$ for drinks... when i got there he started to put on his tuff guy shoes... so between mr hardass, my drunk ass girl, and her drunker ass friends... i got fired up fast.... either i stayed there and ended up being "that guy" that just beats the hell out of some drunk guy that just got suckered... or i leave... i left, with the girls

: I hear ya, although I am a light weight and had I been the "sucker" I think I would have thought twice. Its one thing to lose some cash, its another to lose some cash and receive an ass kicking which no doubt would have been the result. You did the right thing, the chop is looking sweet! Keep up the good work man! -MBSahh man... well the girl was out looking at the bike last night, wanted to know why the bars and speedo brackets where chrome and not white... well they are powdered white now... ill start the wiring and laying paint on the tank and seat tonight... looking to fire it up by Sunday!

Ah man, been there a few times. Though I'm sure at some level it wasn't as satisfying......bailing with the girls as the way to go.

Man back in the day it was so hard to walk away from the challange of an idot with liquid courage in his veins. I used to get challanged every once in awhile while bouncing. The worst bars seemed to be the more upscale ones. One I worked at in St Pete Fla was called The Cowboy (a little up scale). It was full of guys with liquid courage. I much perfered working the biker type of bars. Mostly calm but when something would brake out you knew it was for real. Now a days I just walk away. Figure the idots are not worth it and besides I'm the one leaving with my lady. The right thing to do is walk. You did the right thing man!

ok... Got the seat painted, tank and side covers shot... they still need to be wet sanded to 2000 grit then shot indoors to get a nice smooth surface... but they look good for the first coat... got the screen made for the side cases... and CHECK out steves wiring harness he did up! man this thing is awesome !
Got the white bars on, cut them down 2 inches to tighten up the front end... got the throttle all hooked up and the cables lubed... got to take the girl out on a date now... more stuff to come tomorrow.... (i also wired a stereo into a Harley road king today... done working on bikes for the night)

Kick ass Joe, Just plain kick Ass! Love it. I really like the white on the front end. Will be interesting to see what your plans are for pinstriping etc... I didn't think I'd like the tail lights white, but man I really like them! Chick looks like one of those sexy Price Is Right models
