Yes, Cut the springs so the shocks would ride on the bump stops. Actually working on getting rid of the swinger, and extending the rear.. Working on a donor frame first.. Don't wanna bugger this one up, and be Effed.. A true Shafty hard tail is on the horizion I think!

After a long ass day yesterday, finally got the back welded up. Hope to have the seat mounted, and rear fender bolted up as well! THen strip and fill the tank. gonna paint it Gunmetal. along with the wheels, rocker covers, carb tops, and bowls.

Sounds like the Protaper Adapters for DirtBikes But they are for 1 1/8 bars. I have a set here I was gonna fit on my CX500, but raise up the bars a little too much for my taste.

Yeah, but I can't find a decent place to buy Olins by spec. I've looked at a few Fox, Olins, Elka, iShock, and even eBay shocks.. Problem is that none of them seem to be listed by size...
