me and some friends went but we didnt end up selling any stuff, we didnt really have time to get organized for it. it was a pretty good turn out though. definatly worth 5 bucks. would've liked to have seen the vintage dirt bike race on saturday but we could only go sunday.
me and some friends went to this last year. its pretty rad. alot of cool stuff. i would say its more like an hour from ac. might be selling a bunch of cb350 and 500 parts there on sunday this year. wont be able to ride there though, bike isnt done :-\
i dunno how far your willing to go but there is a decent sized vintage bike show/swap meet in nesco(near hammonton, like 40 minutes west of atlantic city), nj coming up. think its october 24-25 this year. last year there was a fairly large amount of stuff for sale. might be able to find...
i cant say for sure cuz i never tried but the tank on my buddies 72 cb450 (and really the whole bike for that matter) seams to be a little bit bigger than my 72 cl350.
hey just curious. i have a 72 cl350 and people told me if i take off the front fender the forks will be all wobbly and not properly braced...seing as how you did take off your fender, have you noticed that to be true to any degree?
i wanted to do somehting similar to this on my bike but a bunch of hot rod/chopper people who i consider to know what they are doing told me it would rust under the clear after a few seasons. Being right on the east coast (about 20 minutes from the atlantic), any prospect of rust terrifies me so...
i cut my tank in half and am in the process of welding it up to be stretched 3 inches with a slightly modified back end. all i did was let is sit for a few days and then rinse it out with water. i experienced no explosions/fires. ;)
you could rock like the straight accross style drag bars too if you don't wanna be hunched over quite as far as clubmans/clip ons. my bike had clubmans when i bought it and they kind of sucked until i did up some rear sets to go along with them.
my honda is a '72 cl350. same as the cb only it came with some slight variations that made it a little more offroadable(like high exhaust pipes). i like the size/power of it alot but im also like 5'7" 150lbs. my buddy is like 5'11" and he bought a bigger cb500 twin. i think its a '74. they're...
i grew up in ocean city but currently im like 25 minutes west of atlantic city.
i got a honda to start with. this is the first legit bike i've owned (have had mopeds and ridden a good bit of dirtbikes though) and after some research they seem to be the most versatile and easy to get parts for...
you can get a blank at a honda shop and take the lock cylinder to a lock smith. its usually not too terribly expensive if you bring it to them (unlike when they have to come to you cuz you locked your self out of your car or something). might be cheaper to just buy a new ignition switch like the...
Re: Some More CB200 Issues
i bought a new clutch from my local honda shop. it was kind of pricey but since its legit honda i knew it would work. also an old harley guy i know taught me the clutch will work better if you file out the grooves that can develop from the plates in the basket. like...
